Vertical Machining Center
The VFP Series vertical machining centers are built on a high-rigidity structure, featuring A-frame columns and a robust machine base to minimize vibration during cutting and ensure stable machining performance. The X and Y axes use high-precision linear guides, while the Z axis features box way construction, accommodating both high-speed and heavy-duty cutting. The ball screws are heat-treated and precision-ground, supported by angular-contact thrust bearings for accurate preloading and stability, and driven directly by AC servo motors to deliver superior positioning accuracy.
Spindle configurations include a standard belt-driven spindle and an optional direct-drive spindle, reaching speeds up to 15,000 rpm. This flexibility allows the VFP Series to handle various materials and cutting conditions while providing both high speed and high torque. The machines come standard with a 22 or 24-station arm-type tool magazine (optional 30 stations) with tool change times as fast as 1.7 seconds. Combined with stable tool clamping, this significantly reduces non-cutting time and enhances overall machining efficiency.
